Nemat is a family-owned business with a passion to share our heritage and expertise of Indian Perfumery. The Attarwala family behind Nemat has been involved in the art and science of making attars for over 170 years. 

Attar is the name given to fragrant oils made from extracts of flowers, herbs, woods etc. The family name 'Attar'+'wala' means “possessor of perfumes”.

The family traces its roots to the beautiful city of lakes, Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, India. This is where our forefathers began experimenting and tinkering with the art of attar creation.
